According to the leaker, the upcoming Avengers movie will have an Endgame-style plot except it will use the Multiverse instead of time travel. “From what I’ve heard about Avengers: Secret Wars, they basically wanna do Endgame but with the Multiverse instead of time travel,” the insider claims. “Instead of going to key points in the MCU like they did with [Endgame], they’ll be traveling to key universes across the wider Marvel Universe.”

Previous rumors suggest that characters from the Fox Marvel Universe and other major characters may make an appearance in Secret Wars. This includes Hugh Jackman returning as Wolverine with some of the X-Men characters. There are also reports that Robert Downey Jr. could be returning as Tony Stark aka Iron Man in the upcoming movie. Previous rumors suggest that the actor will be making a comeback as the new AI for Riri William’s Ironheart suit. The rumors also point to a possible return for Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire in Avengers 6. The appearance of the duo alongside Tom Holland in Spider-Man: No Way Home sent fans into a frenzy. There are speculations that Marvel Studios is trying “to get as many heavy hitters as they can” for the upcoming Avengers movie.
