Just a couple of months ago, Microsoft secured a deal that gave Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers a free Spotify Premium. Fast forward to today and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate now comes with a free trial of Disney Plus.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Now Comes With Disney Plus
In a bid to try and stick it to Netflix, Disney has been beefing up its lineup of TV shows for Disney Plus. In addition to Wandavision, The Mandalorian, Winter Soldier, and Cruella, Disney Plus is expected to welcome Loki and Black Widow, which is more than reason enough to want to spend money for Disney Plus even if only for a month. But, if you’re already an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, we’ve got good news for you.
If you have an active Ultimate subscription, you’ll receive a 30-day trial to Disney Plus as part of the Game Pass Perks. You can redeem it for as long as your Disney Plus subscription is not active. This means that, even if you already took advantage of Ultimate’s previous Disney Plus offering or you previously had an active Disney Plus subscription, you can still take advantage of the free 30-day Disney Plus trial. The free 30-day trial to Disney Plus is available for Ultimate subscribers on all platforms, so you don’t have to worry about which platform you are on. Just make sure that you use a gift card or a virtual card when you sign up for the free Disney Plus trial. Either that or don’t forget to set a reminder. Because Disney Plus asks for your payment information, you risk getting charged for far longer than you would like with the auto-renewal feature. By using the gift card or other virtual cards, you can prevent this from happening. You can also just cancel the subscription manually just before the 30 days are up if you no longer want to continue. Xbox Game Pass is expected to welcome a bevy of games at their respective launches in the coming months. This includes The Ascent and Dungeons and Dragons: Dark Alliance, among others.
