Unfortunately, before we proceed, we’d like to tell you that we’ve got some good news and some bad news. The good news is that the Shang-Chi-themed Xbox Series X is looking pretty sick. The bad news is that the limited edition console is not available for purchase anywhere.
How do you get the Shang-Chi-themed Xbox Series S console?
If the themed Xbox Series X isn’t for sale, how do you get your hands on it? It’s simple. All you have to do is to enter a giveaway contest. According to the contest’s mechanics, you’ll need to share the embedded tweet below and use the hashtag #XboxShangChisweepstakes and you’ll get a chance to win what Xbox describes as the “Xbox + Marvel Hero collab you’ve been waiting for.”
Follow and retweet with #XboxShangChisweepstakes for a chance to win a custom Xbox Series X and controller inspired by @ShangChi and the Legend of Ten Rings. Ends on 9/18/21 at 8pm PT: https://t.co/CgVPWB4jtM pic.twitter.com/3Y50tf4X1h — Xbox (@Xbox) September 1, 2021 The deadline for submission is on September 18 at 8:00 PM PT, so you still have a couple of weeks to throw your name into the lottery and hope that you get picked. Just make sure that you live in a region that supports Xbox Live and that you’re at least 18 years old. If you’re lucky, you’ll get either a custom-designed Xbox Series X console or a Shang-Chi-themed Xbox Series X controller, either of which is looking awesome, judging by the photos. Now, if you insist on getting your hands on a custom Xbox Series X console (as if getting a regular one wasn’t hard enough), there is a Halo-themed Xbox Series X console launching in November. For this one, you won’t need to join any competition, but you will still need some luck on your side. Because of how clever scalpers are, it will be tough just to secure a pre-order spot the custom-themed Xbox Series X. As for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, the Simu Liu-led MCU film premiered in theaters last September 3. The movie is currently exclusive in theaters where it successfully pulled in $70+ million in the local box office in its opening weekend.
