A little over a month after the last major update, version 1.13, dropped, the marquee racing sim is getting a new update that adds three new cars to the game:

Gran Turismo 7’s producer, Kazunori Yamauchi, had already teased Gran Turismo 7’s latest addition over the weekend, so fans who’ve been salivating at the chance to take the game’s newest vehicles for a spin can finally celebrate. On top of the three new additions, GT7 will also see new additions like photos of New Orleans in Scapes mode, as well as three more World Circuits mode events and a similar amount of new Menu Books. You can check out the official patch notes for the complete list of everything that’s come to Gran Turismo 7. Gran Turismo 7 had a rough launch. After receiving rave reviews from critics, players quickly found out that the full-release version isn’t as good as advertised. Greedy microtransactions bogged down gameplay and eventually resulted in players leaving negative reviews of Gran Turismo 7. Thankfully, the backlash was enough to make Polyphony see the error in its way. After promising to make changes to Gran Turismo 7 in late March, the game’s reputation is starting to recover. Only time will tell if Gran Turismo 7 can live up to Sony’s expectations, but with a form of adaptation in development, Polyphony has an incentive to keep the game going for as long as possible.
