Hogwarts Legacy was originally slated to come out earlier this year before a second delay pushed it back to its current release date on February 10. As for the third delay, here’s when things get quite complicated. For what it’s worth, Hogwarts Legacy is still coming out on February 10 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S and X as well as the PC. However, Hogwarts Legacy won’t be available on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One until April 4. Finally, the Nintendo Switch version won’t roll out until July 25.
So, if you want to play Hogwarts Legacy on February 7, you’ll need to buy it for the PS5 and Xbox Series S/X. The good news is that Sony is confident that the stock shortage for the PS5 has ended. You should be able to get your hands on either current-gen console over the next few weeks. Speaking of Harry Potter, the cinematic future of the Wizarding World is very bright. After the Warner Bros. Discovery merger, the new management is reportedly making future Harry Potter films a priority. According to David Zaslav, franchises are going to have a “real focus”. Hopefully, this means we’ll see more Harry Potter films in the next few years.
